Fueled by the rapid convergence of technology and human innovation, the traditional barriers that once defined individual marketing strategy channels such as design, graphics/imagery, UX, content, UI, SEO, video, SEM, analytics, data attribution, etc., have fallen to the wayside.
It is no longer sufficient to simply execute one or two of marketing strategies individually. It is imperative to understand and interpret how each component connects to create comprehensive Marketing strategies.
Very simply, it all must work together…and I make that happen.
Granted, when it comes to searching for information on the online, I have to admit that I see through a different lens than most. However, at the same time, I am also a prospective customer and I do have a need/problem [of some sort] that I am looking to be fulfilled/solved. In general, I’d say you may have a better chance at capturing my attention if I encounter an info gap on your site since, if I do, I know the “usual” places to look to find what I’m looking for.
As for your other prospective buyers, if they can’t find what they are looking for within 3-5 seconds, you can consider them a missed opportunity. What’s even worse is, research shows that once you fail to meet the expectations on the very first experience, no matter how good the recommendations were from friends & family [the most valuable kind of recommendations], you have most likely lost that potential customer for good.
Why, you might ask? Well, it’s pretty simple. They went back to searching for another business.
